Frost!

There's frost on the roof of my car!
Haven't seen that for a while.

We've had forecasts of overnight air temps below freezing. In some places
they reckon around -4°C (24.8°F ). It's currently 1.8°C in the shade of one
of my conifers atm. Heavy dew on the car, not frozen as yet though.

Yep! The dew has frozen on my car now, so we have frost too. :)

Snap, just checked my car and it's frozded, hibernation seems
a good option now, give me a call in the spring. :o)

Good morning Bill, I hate the touch pad on the laptops, I always use the
mouse.
I think you can buy very small ones for laptops but mine is the usual size
Logitech
and suits me fine.

I'll know it's really winter when I hear that the A939 Cockbridge to
Tomintoul road is blocked :-)

Actually it doesn't need to get blocked. The problem part is a really
steep hill (1 in 3 in old money) which only needs a thin covering of
snow or just a severe frost to close it. There are gates top and bottom
these days.

From memory, the highest part of that road is over 2000 feet up so it's not
surprising it gets blocked by snow.

We've had snow, not seen that for a few months... Needless to say the
usual wacky races occurred on the road with people not paying attention
to conditions.

Ah, Winter is here with a vengeance this year and autumn has been
cancelled ;)
