7 Dayshop and Nero 7 Premium

Earlier this week I tried to update it. Refused by Nero. :-(
So, I contacted CS at Nero and got the following reply

I got one last year from SVP ( OEM disk) but then I bought the new pooter
which had Nero installed so I never used it. I'm now wondering if I would
have had the same problem.

Have requested a full refund and am waiting for a reply from 7dayshop.

Good luck and let us know how you get on. With them being in the Channel
Isles I don't suppose you have the same legal threats to throw at them but
being an online supplier mentioning the bad service a few times here and
having it cached in Google won't do them any good ;-)

If they are reluctant to reimburse John the R-T, I wonder if the
Guernsey police could take any action against the company for selling
what is presumably counterfeit goods?

7dayshop have given me a returns form for a full refund. :-)
I've informed them that I don't think it is their problem and I'll
wait a few days as I've asked Nero to check their update pages.

Possibly. The reply looks like a standard reply. Just got a reply to
my cc to their customer service dept. "To contact our customer
services department, please use the form that is available by
following......." :-(

There is clearly a problem, but I find it hard to believe 7dayshop would
risk their reputation by using illegal keys. If I had to guess where the

That is my thinking too. Especially as the disc has a sort of
textured feel to the top surface.

Probably, although their other installation keys seem to start with
two numbers. Mine is a letter followed by a number.

I lied. Just raked out the Nero 6.6.0.1j disc that came with this PC.
The installation code starts 1A22-
