The DSL

The DSL light on my modem keeps flashing and when it does that, I cant
connect to the internet.
This is an intermittant fault which is usually accompanied by a crackle on
my phone line.
As per usual - when BT came round it was OK and the engineer couldnt hear
any crackle !!
It is most annoying !!! Tis like when you go to the Dr and you feel better
as soon as you get in the waitinfg room !!!

May be worth trying again to see if you get a different engineer? You may
need to lay it on a bit when he comes round, practise your acting skills :-)

If you get the 'right' engineer (and to be fair that's probably 98% of
them) he'll react to choccy biscuits and tea!

I know...
The Engineer looked at me as if I was a stark raveing looney....
He was a right misery ... even the offer of a cuppa tea and a biccy wouldnt
cheer him up.... he had a face like a "sack of spanners" !!!
