Have you looked here

Yep, that's useful info, but she was able to Access the Mailbox OK.
The prob was that there were *no* eMails in the Mailbox (on the Server)
at all!!!
Ok *some* mails may be Blocked for any of several different reasons,
but the Sender would know about it (& she (& others) had tried sending
Mails to it & they were all Accepted OK), so that wasn't the prob, in
this case.

Yep - that's a good way of checking to see what (& where) the prob is!
:-)
She did do that.
She also used MailWasher (& her normal eMail Client, OutLook Express
to check it.
& she used Telnet, to access the Mail Server directly & they all
Connected to the Mail Server Ok & Authenticated OK, using her UserName
& PassWord.
They all said the same thing - Authentication OK, but there was no
Mail in the Mailbox, so she needed to start looking on the Service
Providers Mail Account Maintenance Pages, to see what was happening.
