Yep, the System Restore thingy is something to try - at least if
it *was* working OK on that Date.

the Month

Up*Date*, not UpLoad, surely?
I only mention that, cos usually, those sort of Error Messages
*do* need to be Read (& Quoted) carefully/accurately, to suss out
what they are trying to say & so as to be able to get to the bottom
of various probs.

tried the upload again and a bar appeared at the top asking me to instal

Yep, that Bar thingy is a "Feature" of WinXP SP1 (or SP2?), which
(helps) to Protect you against Installing Dodgy stuff - It Blocks
things which *could* be Dodgy & Warns you, so that you can then decide
whether or not you want to allow it. (windoze can't know whether any
particular thing is Malicious or Safe, so it leaves the decision up
to *you* (the User)

prestp it worked fine...

Wow
pmj...
|
Yep!
That's good, innit?
:-)

Now I got to decide to leave the lastest version where it is or undo the
system restore ... Any ideas ?
pmj...

Decisions, decisions...
Well ,you could *try* doing an "Undo" of the System Restore?
& seeing if it then makes that Website/page Brokted again?
& if it does, then have a look at the various Settings, comparing them
& seeing what the difference is.
But I would be inclined to leave it as it is (working, at the mo)...
& then in good time, you can be pretty sure that something will
happen on the System (an AutoUpDate or something?) which will make
it Brokted again.
Then you (& us all!) can have some more fun & games trying to suss
it out.
