BunnyHare...
Well I have been up about an hour so thought I had better do a GMT
thread

biggeordie...
Good morning....and to everyone else....

Not light enough to see any weather yet

Rabbit...
The Funder and Frightening last night made the press today[1] after causing
power cuts and structural damage up Glasgow way so it looks like, no matter
how bad it seemed here, we got off lightly. The press said the storm
followed the warmest day of the year, not here it wasn't so maybe that's why
we didn't get F&F so bad. This morning we have Walter and the BYT but the
little breeze ( and it is only a little one) has a chill in it so it's not
as warm as it looks. Mind you I've only been at the wheelie bin and picking
up some garden pots which got blown over during the storm. Maybe it'll warm
up later.
[1]

Good morning one and all.

~~Linda~~...
Morning... glad to see you didn't suffer any damage. :-)

MCC...
Some great photos on the BBC Scotland pages -

Rabbit...
Thanks Mike, I love those. I never saw any fork lightening here at all and
only a couple of flashes, which in a way is a shame 'cos I'd love to try
getting a piccy of it. I did stick my mike out the window though and
recorded the rain and funder :-)

biggeordie...
After a rather stormy night we seemed to have settled to a mixture of
clouds and some blue sky.

Am back on the PC after shelling out for a new keyboard following the
little accident with a cup of coffee :-))

biggeordie...
Oops.

Hope all the poorlies are feeling a little bit better

biggeordie...
Ditto

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing

biggeordie...
Have a nice day everyone.

jackie...
Good morning Biggeordie, have a good day.

Anita...
Good morning,
Another bright sunny morning here very warm again - and still no sign of
rain - am determined to take it easy today, no carpet cleaning!

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well they reckoned it wouldn't get up to 20°C today. It's already 20.4°C
(68.7°F) in the shade by my ponds already. Feels really sticky too.

Anita...
went to Sainsburys this lunchtime - when we came out of the store the
temperature was 26 - about 2 lower than yesterday. No sign of any rain
at all :)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Just peaked at about 22°C (71.6°F) in the shade here - no cloud at all so
far - so it's scorching in the sun.

Rabbit...
I've been playing in the garden, no idea of the temperature but it's a
scorcher here too this afternoon.

Anita...
Yes, have just checked and it is 28 out there now - same as it was
yesterday :)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Too hot for me in the sun out there atm.

Enjoy!!! :)

Hope all are well and that you are going to have a good day

MCC...
Good morning Barb and everyone as you arrive.

Foxy at w*rk...
Morning Barb (and Noreen) It's glorious here the sun is very warm even now.

Got lots to do first thing so will be back later to check the 159 posts
since yesterday

Expensive hobby having visitors, by the sound of it ;-)

BunnyHare...
Well it wasn't actually down to having a visitor except for the fact
that if she hadn't been here the coffee would not have been where it
was. The new keyboard wasn't too expensive - £6.99 and it is a really
good one to use too, better than my old one

Beautiful sunny morning here in the far southwest and the forecast is good
too. Can't be bad :-)

MCC...
Less than 10 minutes since I typed that and the weather has completely
changed - now thick fog and I can hardly see the end of the street! There
was no sign of it just now. Hopefully the sun will burn it off in quick

BunnyHare...
Been a lovely day here too but it talks of rain tomorrow

donut...
Goodmorning everyone - it is a beautiful morning here and I have done some
gardening
how things have grown in the last 2 weeks!! as usual the weeds have been
vigorous.
Have a good day whatever you are doing.
donut

jackie...
Good morning Mike, the sky has now turned blue here and the sun is trying to
come out, the forecast is ` not as hot as yesterday`.
Going to a cremation today so not such a happy one.

time.

Have a good day everyone.

jackie...
Good morning Barb and The Duchess! not so bright here this morning, just

BunnyHare...
Been a lovely day here, all day. Her ladyship has been chilling on the
swing most of the day. I did a 4 mile round bike trip to deliver
something to one of the guiders then called in at the local garden
centre to pick up a few bedding plants. The lady there told me the
"greenhouse" I had ordered had arrived so I ended up putting it on my
bike and walking home!
Its one of those with metal poles and a heavy duty plastic covering ( a
bit like a tent)
After lunch I put the thing together then Noreen and Himself came and

Rabbit...
And it was looking good.

lent a hand to put the cover on

Rabbit...
.............and it all went downhill then ;-)

BunnyHare...
Got it in one. Not to mention the fact that whoever packed the thing in
the factory has no idea about tent canvases. Had to undo it and refold
to get the thing over the frame.

overcast.
A new keyboard?????? now I wonder how that happened ? these little accidents

BunnyHare...
It was really quite funny. The cup of coffee was on the desk and
started to slide off, I went to catch it (no idea why) and in trying
that I knocked it back on to the desk and all over the keyboard
Ah well I tried to break the pc to get a new one and then it got sorted
but at least I managed a new keyboard

happen when you are enjoying yourself.
Have a good day.

~~Linda~~...
Morning all... Not as warm as recent days here but sunny and some nice
patches of blue sky. The grass needs cutting but still a bit wet at the
moment, so coffee and a quick read in order here too. I had to smile at the
'keyboard' incident... BTDTGTTS :-)

BunnyHare...
Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Happy Friday all :-)
