A trip down the river was a nice way to start my day, loved the views -

We went *up* the river
Tickettyboo...
|
I aint got much of a sense of direction on water :-)
|
Of course we came back down again but by that time I was in the bar having
a nice cup of coffee to warm me up ;-)
|
thanks Mike.
Are the retired lifeboats sold on, or do they keep them in reserve?
MCC...
|
Sold on, Boo. That's a real "oldie". The ones being built now are real
"go-faster" jobs. Where that one could maybe manage 8 - 9 knots, downhill
and with a following wind, the new ones are capable of 3 times that speed.
Tickettyboo...
Mind you, I wouldn't like to be on one while it was going that fast in a
really rough sea.

Ah yes I saw my house again, if Camelot oblige I'll be there :-)
Why do the flags read *FLUSHING* ? Was somebody using the loo ???:-)
Looks like the weather did you well for the trip, I enjoyed that cruise,
thank you Mike.
MCC...
|
That's the name of the place where the flag pole is situated - just across
the harbour from Falmouth. If you are ever fortunate to visit there be sure
Rabbit...
|
Ah right thanks, I thought it was on the boat.
|
and have a meal on the quay in the "Sticky Prawn" - a really good fish
restaurant.

|
Well the Eden Project is still on the *to do list* so I'll try to remember
your suggestion.

Excellent photos of some beautiful sights. Thank you.
BTW, can you explain the caption with the seagull, (which
read: "He wanted my pasty!") ?
Did you mean "pastry", (or is "pasty" another English
expression which I haven't heard before)?

Very good little album, brings back memories of sailing in the South
West in the 80's
£1,500,000 - I could probably manage the caravan, possibley not the
ground rent!
