New series of CSI starting tonight...

...so I've got my aluminium case all ready along with fully charged
batteries for my Maglite torch :-)

Rabbit...

I've not watched CSI but if they are like other Merkin cop shows can
anybody tell my why they ( all other Merkin cop shows I've seen) hold
torches in a fist with fingers upwards ? When I hold a torch it's thumb up
and I reckon if I might need to use it as a weapon ( as many do in the cop
shows) then I'd find it easier to hit somebody with it when holding it thumb

I read somewhere that the beam of light is then where the eyes are looking.

So I'm sitting her with an imaginary torch trying to see if that's right but
I still can't see it being any different, but then again I'm not a cop so it
could be right. Thanks Shaz, I'll still carry on holding my torch thumb up.
