I'm trying to find if "Guliemus" is translated into "William".
The International Genealogical Index includes it with all the "William's"

Nope.
When it comes to Wales (& Welsh speaking), it's my *Sister* who
is the "Fount of all knowledge", so to speak.
She has always specialised in Languages, so when she learned Welsh,
she didn't just "learn Welsh", she actuall yspoke it on a daily basis
& learned *how* (& *why*) the Welsh words are what they are.
She moved to Patagonia (in Argentina), partly cos there's a
Welsh "Ex-Pat" Community out there.
Now she works as a (Freelance) Translator, for Spanish, English,
American, Welsh (& Tehuelche, which is the Native Indian Language
around where she is) etc.

No, it is also used as William in welsh - but it comes from the Latin - as
