Aries...
Up and running now :)

John in Cornwall...
Hello Val....
Must say the conservatory looks very nice !!!!
John in Cornwall

Aries...
It is very nice to sit it as well, thanks John :)

Rabbit...
Nice, enjoy.

Aries...
We've been sitting in it today reading our books. It was also interesting
watching the birds feed at the bird table:) I must take some photos of

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Yes you must. And don't forget they start feeding before 05-00 these days.
LOL

Aries...
I'll pass on that LOL

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I thought you might. LOL

them :)

BunnyHare...
Looks great. When's the conservatory warming :-)

JoeH...
Next time the sun's out ;-)

Aries...
It's warm already, in there, Barb ;)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Wait 'til summer then. :(

Aries...
It has a special sun filtering room which doesn't allow the sun through.
We also have a roof opening window and lots of windows around the sides so
it shouldn't be too bad there in the Summer if we get one. Time will tell.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Keep us posted then, assuming the pooter in there doesn't overheat. ;)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well if global warming comes to fruition, it'll be conservatory cooling and
aircon installation that'll really be needed. LOL

Tyke...
A lovely place Val.
I find conservatories special places.
We had one built on our Victorian house in the UK - cost a few limbs but
worth it.

Enjoy :-)

Aries...
Hi Russell :bighug: I agree, conservatories are special - wonderful
atmosphere in ours, so relaxing :)

Troy's Human...
Looks good Val - Enjoy :-)

Aries...
We are - it's a theraputic place - so relaxing :)

jackie...
Very nice indeed Val, we had one where we used to live and it was used lots.

Aries...
Ours will be used a lot too, as our Summer room :)

Mike Clayton...
Are we going to get a summer then?

Aries...
I certainly hope so LOL

Aries...
Apologies to the folk in the Pub who have already seen these pics

pmj...
When I Click on that Link, I get a Page with 4 Thumbnails running
vertically down the Page, so I Clicked on them to have a look...

& then, when I try to Click on the bit that says [<< Previous]
(on this Page...)

Nothing happens!

Aries...
will rectify later on today

& when I click on the bit that says [Next >>] (on this Page...)

Nothings Happens, either!

Aries...
sorted :)

Aries...
All sorted now :)

There seems to be something wrong with the way that the "Web Album
Generator" Software that you used, generates the HTML for the Pages.

MCC...
Cos they are the first and last photos you can't have a 'previous' before
the first photo or a 'next' after the last one ;-)

pmj...
Exactly!

That's why I was puzzled (& Confuzzled) as to why they were there!
When it makes no (logical) Sense to have "Previous" on the first one
&/or "Next" on the last one!

(OK, some things might use those to sort of "loop" back to the
beginning, or forwards to the end, depending on which one is Clicked)

I agree it would have been better if Web Album Generator had dropped those
buttons from the first and last photos like what Gallery Constructor 2 that

pmj...
Yep.
That's the sort of thing that *Computers* (& Computer Programs)
should be perfectly able to do, isn't it?
Why should people have to put up with things like that (or Manually
Edit the HTML), when the *Program* should have done it properly in
the first place?

Graham uses does.
Easy enough to tweak the HTML though.

pmj...
Yep, maybe (for some people) but see above.

JoeH...
IrfanView also puts a "next" button on the last image but the code
attached to it points to the first page of the sequence.

Aries...
I have used IrfanView in the past but thought I would try something
different this time. I didn't notice the previous and next links tho until
they were pointed out to me, but now I have edited the html so all should

pmj...
LOL!
:-)

& you can (usually) rely on someone like me to mention things like
that & point them out, can't you?
:-)

look and jbex OK now ?

pmj...
Yep!
:-)

But why should you have to Manually Edit the HTML?
How come the Program doesn't get it right in the first place?

Aries...
Dunno ;)

Ali...
Probably, it's plugging values into a template using a search & replace
mechanism, and actually omitting sections, or rather determining when to omit
sections, would be a lot more complicated.

Aries...
I use various web album generators, but I must admit I didn't notice the
last 'next' button in this particular prog :(

pmj...
yep, that makes (a certain amount of) sense.
But having the words "Next" & "Previous" when they don't actually
go to the "Next & "Previous" is just sloppy Programming & annoying
& Confuzzling - both for the person who is trying to Display the Pics
& the people who are trying to look at them, isn't it?

We don't all pay Hundreds of Pounds for a Computer & Internet
Connection, just to have to manually do everything for ourselves
& to have to fight our way through an obtuse & unclear/unintuitive
Navigation System, do we?
:-)

MCC...
We're in danger here of losing sight of the fact that programs such as
Picasa, Gallery Constructor, etc., are free and therefore we shouldn't

pmj...
Hmmm...
Yes, you have a (good?) point there...
But...

expect too much of them. We certainly can't expect perfect programming.

pmj...
Why not?
Surely we can (& should?) *expect* them to function in a reasonably
sensible (& logical) way?

pmj...
No not "perfect", but we can expect competent programming?

& also...
Yet (with the likes of web-search Picasa etc,) we are expected to think
(& accept) that having loads of (useless) "bells & Whistles" is fine?
While the basic funcionality (& ease of use) is lacking?

Nice conservatory Val. Hopefully there will be a step outside the door once
the patio is finished? Bit of a long drop at the moment

Aries...
Well spotted Mike - step is planned :)

noreen...
That is lovely Val I hope you have many happy hours and sunny days init
;-)))

Aries...
Thanks Noreen. We have already LOL

~~seadancer~~...
It's beautiful, Val. I love the whiteness of it.
Is the white part wood or something else?
Enjoy it... and use it in good health for a long time!

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Looks fine Val - hope you enjoy it.

Splodge...
It looks lovely Val.
Enjoy!!
