Just thought I'd share a really big step forward with you.
Rabbit...
|
Well done again that girl. Just a thought though don't do it too often or
you might not get taken to the pub ;-)
Pam the goose...
|
Heehee, that's excellent advice ;-)
It can only be done if he does the hard part first.
(Ta much, by the way)

Pam the goose...
|
Wayhay, I like that :-)
Definitely a kind Barb :-)

~~Linda~~...
|
Aw Pam... I love your steps. I think, in fact, you're more doing a hop,
skip and a jump now! Keep it up, it's brilliant to read! :-))
Pam the goose...
|
And it's replies like yours, ~~Linda~~, that make me so pleased I can
report them :-))
|
|
Although I cannot (yet!) actually make a cooked meal on my own yet, at least
I have become OK with the gas lights on the cooker.
Jackie...
|
So pleased for you Pam - another big step forward.
Pam the goose...
|
Thanks, Jackie.
It really does feel good, better than any of the other improvements :-)

Yesterday Ray made a stew, one of these dishes where braising steak, tatoes
and veg go into a pan and once cooked all that's needed is it to be hotted
up. You know the kind I mean.
So today before I saw the light of day off he went to the countryside to do
some serious S*R training.
He rang a few minutes ago to say he's just started off home, give or take 30
mins or so and he'll be here.
Well, rememberer had been doing nicely, thank you, cos I had already started
the hotting up of that pan. Now it's on simmer and will continue to get
hotter and hotter till he gets home:)
It might be very little to all you but believe me it's a massive step for me
and Ray will just not believe his tea is ready!! I can't wait for him to get
Bri....

Well done Pam, it's great to hear *good* news like that, keep it up gal
:-)
Pam the goose...
|
Thanks, Bri:)
I don't think you were here when the lady on Largs Prom who'd had the same
thing answered a question for me. I told her my specialist had told me what
I didn't manage to get back after two years would never come back. She
laughed and told me she was still improving after 10 years. So that made me
determined to follow her example, never mind what the specialist said. And
I'm still following her :-)

Great stuff Pam, just make sure he does the dishes ;-)
Pam the goose...

rofl
I never thought of that, Joe, that's usually my job.
Hmmm, I'll see what I can do, it's fair if he does them, isn't it?

Many thanks, Me, do we know you?
You will realise that my rememberer ain't what it used to be since the
bleeding brain.

Grannie Annie...

Yes, the chef NEVER washes up in our house.
Diswasher has just packed up too. I've ordered another one which comes
just before Chri**mas; if we're lucky.
Well done Pam, that's great. Bon appetit
Pam the goose...
|
Thanks, Annie :-)
Have just enjoyed a really lovely meal and Ray's rather happy tonight :-)
Dishes are sitting in the sink while he talks to his Mum on the phone. Will
see what happens in a minute or two :-))

Bri....

His Mum rang this afternoon and she was shocked at the way I could use the
phone. So I must have got more capable there, too. She regaled me with
stories of how her knees do the same as mine - suddenly bend when walking.
I've decided my Dr doesn't know the difference between Aneurism effects and
Aries...

You've probably had your stew with Ray by now Pam but how wonderful you
must feel to be able to get Ray's tea ready for him when he arrives home -
congratualtions on your latest repair :')
Pam the goose...

Yes, eaten and thoroughly enjoyed, Val :)
It's such a great feeling having managed it myself :)
