They won't be allowed home for Christmas and probably not until after the
New Year. Their Mum has to spend another week in hossie.

That's a shame. I hope they are allowed home soon.

Shame they won't be home for Christmas but they are better staying there
until they are really fit. Hope things continue to improve. My thoughts
are with all the family

That does often happen with twins Mike, and being rather small ,it is a
precaution, Mum won't think that but it is a lot better cos of the weather
as well ;-))

Weights of 4 & 5 lbs were regular in my day but now they
make sure all sorts of things are taken care of before they
let them home, don't they?
But Mum will have a chance to get stronger while the nurses
take care of her little ones for a while. Hard for her (and
him!) but better for all their health.
Hope everything goes well for them.

That's a shame Mike, but there has to be a really good reason, and it's
always better to be safe than sorry. Much better than the situation when
my Mum was in the High dependency Unit in 1994. they moved them to the
general ward at weekends, because, or so they said, there wasn't enough
money to run the HDU at weekends.

What a shame, Mike. But better to have them all really well before they're
sent home.
Start counting the hours
