I dunno!
Go on then, tell us?

The only Back Lane I knew was in Chalfont St Giles and it's not that one,
so I don't know the answer to the query. :(

LOL!
Ah, but when you just Click a Link to a .KMZ File, the Browser
Fetches & Downloads the File, then hands it to web-search Earth, which
Opens it up & displays what's in the *File*!
But a .KMZ File is actually a Zipped File...
& it can contain various different things...
In this case, there's actually a .JPG Picture (Overlay)...
Try Opening it (the .KMZ File) up as a .ZIP File (ReName it to .ZIP)
& then see what's actually in it...
There's a .KML (Keyhole Markup Language) File, which is actually
a Plain Text (Description) File in it.
& there's *also* a Folder (called "images") in it which actually
contains an *Overlay* Picture! Which is a .JPG File - BOP.JPG
(Bird Of Prey)

Now, try taking those Co-Ordinates - Latitude & Longitude -
& Locating them *directly* in web-search Earth (or on the web-search Maps
Website)...
& you can see it's actually just a Plain Field!!!

|
*Really*? You mean there's not really a Klingong Bird over the UK? ;-)
Rabbit...
|
Of course not *everybody* knows you only get Klingons on the starboard bow
:-)
|
Reel it in now lads, we've caught a bigg'un this time LOL
Sorry pmj just jestin'.
|
& that's some distance away from the Co-Ordinates that you
originally Posted - which is a point about 7 Miles to the West
(& a few Yards slightly South) of the Location Pointed to by the
.KMZ File.
That's (one of) the clever things about web-search Earth (& the .KML
Keyhole Markup Language)...
You can (or Websites like that one) *overlay* your (or their)
own Pictures (& Routes & even 3D Buildings & things) onto the
standard Satellite Image Views & Maps!
:-)

I've tried separating those numbers by degree signs and by commas, Degrees
gave me nothing and commas gave me Chicago beach front.

|
Try going to your web-search Earth Options...
Menu>Tools>Options...>View
& Setting it to show in Degrees (Decimal), rather than Degrees,
Minutes, Seconds
Then Entering the Decimal Equivalent of the Latitude & Longitude
(just separated with a Comma - Latitude,Longitude)...

Your one BTW isn't the one that I saw a couple of days ago, the naughty word
in a field one ??? ;-)
pmj...
|
No, but there are lots of "Black Helicopters"!
JoeH...
|
Yup, I've seen some of them - and planes in flight and Concorde
and...and...and... it's just soooooooooooooo interesting.

LOL!!!
Well, I was puzzled, when I opened up my web-search Earth Application
& looked at the Co-Ordinates that you specified in your Post & saw
nothing out of the ordinary...
& then, when I looked at it from the .KMZ File that you Posted
a Link to, the thing which showed up (which was actually a .JPG
Picture Overlay) wasn't actually in the same place anyway!!!
|
pmj...
|
What's the Co-Ordinates of that then?
