MCC...
Good morning from Cornwall where it is dry and very mild and there is a
large BYNL shining through the clouds.

Anita...
Have a good day, whatever you are doing.

Hello Mike and hello all,
It is grey and overcast here - had rain during the night and it ist
still damp looking out there.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°7 +...
Been just like that all morning here too. Doesn't feel too warm either even
though the temperature is 10.2°C (50.4°F). Must be the strong breeze that's
making it feel cool. Even Gizmo has come back in after about ½ hour out,
and gone back to his bean bag.

Anita...
Well, it is even duller out there than what it was earlier 2.06pm and it
looks as if we will have to put the lights on!
We have not had any more rain - but the pavements and road are still
damp from last night - so I guess that it is not mild out there.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°7 +...
Weather watcher reckons it's 12.2°C (54°F) in London and also here, and I'm
cold too. Must be 'cos it's damp I suppose.

Am being very good - and still doing nothing:)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°7 +...
I'm just off to do some vacuuming - New Year's resolution or summat like

Anita...
Well, you enjoy your vacuuming - I am not doing anything lol

As for New Year's resolutions : what are not made - cannot be broken :)

that. :)

Sounds as if you are going to have a busy - but enjoyable day Mike. Hope
all goes well for you.
I caught up with my housework yesterday at last and am going to try and
do nothing to do.
Hope all have a good day

Today is the day of our party for all the kids in our Cornish family and
sundry Mums and Dads. We haven't got enough chairs to go round so I'm up
early to make sure I get a seat
I've made a rice, mandarin orange, spring onion and mayo salad, I have an
apple and celery one to make (no walnuts so I can't call it a Waldorf
salad!) and various other bits and pieces to do, so that'll keep me off the
streets for a while :-)
Then when it's all over and everyone has gone home, we'll start taking down
all the decorations and clearing up. Tomorrow the outside lights will be
put away for another year. And so Christmas/Yule/Solstice celebrations will
be over and we can return to what passes for normal around here.

Aries...
and what a glorious party that's going to be by the sound of things :) I
do like your salad recipes and will be making a note of those. Have a
great time today with your family Mike but be careful taking down those
decorations

Thoughts are with the poorly people and those who care for them.

Have a good day, whatever you are doing.

Splodge...
Good Morning Mike. Dry and clear here, but a bit nippy before the c/h
switches on.
By gosh that sounds like a fun day ahead of you. I'll be looking forward to
seeing any photos, if you're not too exhausted lol.
Ditto all the good thoughts, and have a great day

noreen...
Morning Jackie now that seems like a good idea ;-) we would help him with
the clearing up afterwards wouldn't we ?;-)
Took my decorations down too, and having doors hung today so needed all out

noreen...
Morning Janet it sure does sound good but a lot of work, thik i will give it

noreen...
You are going to be busy Mike but sounds like you are going to have a good
day, I really fancy some of your salads, my Eric used to make all those when
he was here the Waldorf
just reminded me of him but we did have the nuts ;-)
Have a really good day with your family !!my decorations came down yesterday
;-))))

a miss ;-)))))

of the way .
Will see you at Mike's ;-)))))

Splodge...
We could be a gruesome threesome and help with the drinking:)))
Passing thought - I wonder why we take the decs down earlier as we get
older?

noreen...
Think it's cos we get tired of them earlier and like to see the back of them
for a year ;-)))))
