Took a few pictures on my walk today. The little park built around the
site of the Mary Magdalene church is tucked away beside the main road
into Gloucester. I have passed it on the bus many times but today, as I
was walking I decided to visit it and very nice it was too. The flower
beds looked nice today and given a few weeks they will be really nice.

Just what I needed this morning as I look out the window here at all the
white stuff, a reminder that spring is here even if it doesn't look like it

Well there is a little bit of white stuff on today's pictures if I get
around to posting them

Lovely, sometimes there are real gems right where we live, but we don't
notice them or don't get the time to see them like visitors do.
Shame the chapel is boarded up, and I wonder what the other building was?
Bit small for a bandstand ( unless it was a soloist lol)

Well himself reckons it used to have a statue in it at one time cos he
has seen pictures. I imagine it would have been a religious icon,
perhaps Mary. Will have a look in some books next time I am in the
library. I did look on the web and found this but no pictures other
than the chapel

That ancient contraption looks like something was fed through it and got
chopped as the wheel rotated..
