BoyPete...
In IE, click find, put 'slow cooker' in sbject box, and search, it brings up
the relevant threads :)

Smokey...
This one any good PF

Parrotfish...
Yep, done that ! But the recipes start off with *1 fully cooked ham* !
I want to do it from scratch in the slow cooker.

I like just plain boiled ham..so I buy a piece of gammon, put it in a
pan and fill with cold water, bring to the boil and chuck the water
away.
Bung it in the slow cooker and fill with boiling water and leave it on
low while I am running round on the wheel with the other
hamsters...usually about 8-9 hours
Take it out drain it and wrap it in foil till it cools, leave it in the
fridge till it's chilled.
Slice it and there is enough for dinner and some left over for butties.
Make sure the gammon isn't too big..it must be completely covered with
the water .

Bram...
Wasn't Noreen was it..?

Rofl........ she'd have a problem fitting *this* ham between two plates

I've found the thread, and it was Boo who posted it.
Love the 'pmj song', but couldn't hear you singing ? ;o)
