Sunny with the warm wind here again today and this time we have Walter
instead of Grey up above so it could be another scorcher.

A beautiful day here very warm sunshine, and blue skies. The w**kmen are
still with us - no parking or walking on our side of the road, goodness
knows what they are up to - we thought they would do a section at a
time.
We have been informed that the situation will last for 2 weeks :(

Since I typed that we have had another notice put through our door -
saying that the work will now continue for 4 weeks - because the road
surfacing has to be done also. As it is a narrow road in places they are
going to do that work on Sundays - heigh ho! Wonder what our neighbours
think about a road closure on Sundays !

It's my Tony's 77th birthday today and we are going to spend most of the
day at Petworth House, a National Trust property not too far from us just
north of Chichester. It's a lovely day for wandering around the beautiful

grounds, and we shall also enjoy the interior of Petworth House itself with
it's history, artwork, and architecture, and of course the lunch menu LOL
