What a journey!
Glad to hear Mum is getting on OK.
Now put your feet up and have some real rest!

I am shattered after the journey home. Lincoln to Nottingham was ok then

Hope you feel refreshed today.

cross the footbridge and wait 30 minutes for the next train which should
have brought me back to Gloucester. Wrong - train only going as far as
Birmingham. Get to Birmingham and have to complete the journey by bus as
there are engineering works on the line so its up the steps out of the
station and wait another 30 minutes until the bus comes in. Never mind got
home eventually just over 7 hours after I left Mum's house
Nice to see Mum and a few other relatives but nice to be home
