Regarding computer difficulties- Its kind of you
to offer help. I think the problems are manifold -
1. Warning that going into Powersaving Mode -
Goes off.

Try this for power options:

Right click on desktop/Display properties/Screensaver tab/Power
button/choose settings to suit you and your puter :)

Good idea...
But...

When Marge first Posted about that prob (last week?), lots of
suggestions were made about the various "Power Options", but
it (the prob of the "No Video Signal" Message & the "Power Saving
Mode" Message on her Monitor - which is what she is getting, from
her description of it) *isn't* caused by the Power Options Settings.

Ah, apologies as being away at the time I didn't see/read that thread.

When the Power Options stuff (as Set on the PC) Kicks in, (which it
only does when the Computer is Idle, but Marge said that the prob
happens when she's actually *using* the PC), they tell the Monitor
to Shut Down (or go into StandBy Mode).
So the Monitor doesn't then show that "No Video Signal" Message
on its Screen.

That only comes up if the Video Signal is *Cut Off* (not present),
as opposed to the Signal being properly Shut Down by the PC.

Which indicates a prob with Over Heating, or perhaps a duff
connection somewhere - in a Lead, or on the Circuit Board, either
in the PC or the Monitor..

2 Getting the Red -Green-Blue warning to
check-- etc.
3 Haven't been able to change my Password

..amongst them. I don't feel weel enough in
myself to sit long enough to try to correct them.
Recovering from operations, accidents,
bereavements, ..... and beginning to think that
age is now beginning to slow down the learning,
altho I usually have a sharp mind. So probably
have to call in the services of a local computer
expert.. charges quite a fee.!! Thanks v. much.
