There is a site where you can find out house prices in your area. Can
someone give my rememberer a nudge ?

Yep, there are several similar Sites like that on the Web, which
offer House Price Information - they get their Info from various
places - partly from Estate Agents, but also from the Land Registry
Database, which Records the *actual* Selling Price of any Land
& Property Sold in the UK (rather than the Advertised price or the
Estate Agents opinions)

& then those Sites add on to their Pages various Adverts & Links
to other Services

You can Access (for Free) the Official Land Registry Information here...

(at the LandRegisterOnline Site, you can also Access the Title Deeds
for any Property (along with Location/Site Maps etc, of it), so you
can see who actually owns it & who has an Interest in it - they list
the things like Charges & Mortgages etc.)

Well, I got the Site (Page) OK, but then, when you (I - !)try a Search,
yep, it does come back with that silly Reply!

& stuff is *s'posed* to be available Online...

Maybe, the bloke in the Office who does the looking up of the Info,
when a Search Request is made, is on Bank Holiday today?

about House Prices & things...
