What with all these showers, I need some advice.
Buy a brand new car and the windscreen washers are as quiet as a church
mouse. Give it awhile and they 'grab' the screen owing to the traffic
film.
Is there a way to cure this? I have used so-called traffic film remover,
glass cleaner etc.... without success. Does anybody have a remedy? Lemon
juice, turpentine.....?????

It's got rid of the 'grabbing', but I still have a film on the windscreen.
I guess I should do it more often?

New wiper blades?
They are "supposed" to be changed every year.

Another trick to try is to drop some fairy liquid on a sponge and run it
along the wiper blades.
