I,m a bit worried about Wayne Rooney's foot.
Apparently he's hurt it - and may not be able to play for England in the
world cup.
Isnt that terrible ?

Goodness me John you are behind the times. He did that weeks ago.
Apparently it's a similar injury, but not as bad, as Michael Owen's one.
Michael has been out about 4 months, but they're hoping that he will be
able to turn out for England too. Rooney is supposed to be having another
scan later in the week, and they're hoping to say when he can play again.
Even if it's not well enough for him to play in the first part of the
competition they say that he will be going to Germany to play in the later
stages, assuming England get through to them . And yes it is serious for
all those who would like to see England win their second World Cup (remember

Will the media ever let us forget ? BTW the bookies are taking bets as to
how long in any WC game it takes the commentator to mention 1966. The
