everytime i want to keep something safe i put it away and am confident i
will remeber where i put it. I know i will not findit again only by
accident, so next time remembering that, i shall be very carefull where
i have put it and i will not see it again LOL
So i know i am a twit everytime but everytime its the same ..... if you

I understand perfectly Len, it happens frequently in this house, the worst
one was when hubby Jack hid his car keys when we went away on holiday, we
didn't have any transport for almost a week until he found them, sometimes I
can be phsycic, (can't spelI it) I ,empty my mind and try not to think
where they are, then something whispers in my head where to look, that's how
I found the keys. What I do now is write it down in a notebook saying where
the keys are and take it away with me, it's best to write everything down,
but don't hide the notebook LOL

Anita...
Oh yes, indeed ;)

Can you not keep an alphabetical book showing where things are that you
put away for safety?

understand me LOL

Foxy at w*rk...

Yes, I understand completely! It happens to me too.
In our house we say that if we put something away
in a "special place", it's bound to be lost forever. (g)

Old Grizzly...
i had a webcam ....... i lost a wbcam LOL i looked everywhere and
couldnt find it. I looked at places and thought no it wouldnt be in
there and so on. Soooooooooo i bought another. Today looking for the
item i had lost i found that webcam ;-) and it was where i thought i
would never put it LOL

pmj...
LOL!!!

Now...
If it had been a WiFi Webcam (& had been switched on), maybe you
could have Set up your PC to Connect to it & had a look at the View
from the Webcam???
:-)

You might have been able to recognise the inside of the
Drawer/Cupboard/Shed that it was in!
:-)

Or if it was on a high shelf somewhere, you might have recognised
which shelf it was on (& in which room).
:-)

Murphy's Law! When you buy a replacement, you find the original!
One time I couldn't find a certain pair of favorite sandals. I looked
all around the house. Gave up. Then one day, when I was looking
for something else, I found the sandals. They were right where they
were supposed to be, in the shoe bag on the back of the door in the
spare bedroom. Fortunately, I hadn't yet bought a replacement pair.

Hehe some close friends of mine went to work in South Africa and had
some local help in and around the house. One day a childs Sandal went
missing and the search was high and low for a while. Then my friends
gave up and threw the reamaining one in the bin. A few weeks later a
child of a helper was seen with both sandals on ;-)
