i have just been told that worming your dog is now done with a combined
flea/wormer treatment by applying drops to the back of your dogs neck!
this is new to me and i wonder what toxic substance i would be putting
on her. Usually i have given Meg tablets from the vets (Drontal i
think).
What do you reckon?

ah yes but the question related to using a *combined* flea/wormer on the
back of the neck.

not heard of that myself Len, sounds good tho

i am used to (for cats and dogs) giving tablets for worms and drops on
the neck for fleas but never as yet a combined dose
I had cats for about 30 years ;-)

I bought this stuff
for all the cats from Asda.Seems to have jbexed a treat. I had problems
getting the right doses into the cats when they were on tablets. I gave them
the drops on the back of the neck and lets just say the worms I thought they
didnt have made an appearence from the other end.
The dog now has alternate doses of flea drops and wormer granules every 3
months and she seems fine.
The cats are ok although one of them has lost some fur from around his neck,
but this could be fighting as we're not quite sure whether the scratches are
his or someone elses.
I'd say give it a go, its certainly made life easier for us with 3 cats and
a dog.
