The aardvaark thing seems to be drinking the water from a hole in the
pipe, if you can distract him, the wee man can go and bung the hole up
so that the water will flow

make sure the small wheels are all pointing in the same direction and
then turn the big one ( the small wheels have red bits on some of the
points)

Yes got that far but the only thing i seem able to do is get all the fern
thingies to leave thei stems, and move the creature that's biting one of
them.

Well the hand appears when I hover over the creature eating the tree and the
rescuer is trembling at the base of the tree, but I can't get anything else

Yep got there nonwe. Can w*rk the pump, heat the cauldron and get the seed
pod thingies to drop them into the cauldron, but for how long do you have
to do that. Off to get dinner on now, so might look at it again
tomorrow. Busy TV evening and early start tomorrow. :(

Bottom right there is a level code. The next time you load it go to the
bottom left and click on * load level* and go straight to the level you were
in
