Had three wonderful days in Dublin with our friends, listened to some great
Traditional Irish music in the Oliver St John Grogarty bar, hit the shops,
went on the open top city tour bus, freezing cold but we enjoyed it, the
driver gave a great commentary, with jokes and songs, talk about
entertaining, got off at the Guinness storehouse which we really enjoyed, hit
some more shops down Grafton Street and Henry Street. First day it threw it
down, the other days were sunny but with a biting cold wind.

We stayed in one of the roof top apartments in the Oliver St. John
Grogarty. It was handy for most parts of Dublin.

Sorry, we have been back over a week now and finished all the Guinness !

YW Boo, we found everyone had a great sense of humour but the bus driver had
us in hysterics

noreen...

linedancer...
Thank you Noreen, it was very cold, that's why we went into the shops to get
warm !

;-))))

Aries...
some excellent photos there Pat but it did look pretty darn cold, brrhhhhh

linedancer...
Thank you Val, it was absolutely freezing especially on the open top tour
bus, but it was an experience ;-)

biggeordie...
I've still got some here. ;-)

I looked at the apartments, they like most places were fully booked for the
Friday night, I eventually found the Hotel Isaacs which was right opposite
the bus station and it was very nice.

biggeordie...
We had it booked about 4 months ahead as we were going over there for
our son's wedding.

I didn't really like the Guinness, it was a freebie when you got to the top
of the storehouse.

biggeordie...
I like the Guinness but prefer my malt whisky. ;-)

Saxman...
A few pics! Liked the lights.

linedancer...
Yes the lights were lovely, mostly blue as well :-)
