Boo update (she's not giving back the spanner to fix the plane)

I'm not sure if she can get online again at the moment but just had a chat
on the phone with our 'grounded' Boo and they've just been told that they

She always manages to have an *extra feature* included in her jollidays :-)

won't be going anywhere today, so they've got the rest of the day (it's
around half ten in the morning there) to do what they want and another
night in the hotel... it's alright for some, isn't it?

Understandably, there are a few people for whom it must be a major hassle
but Boo is just gonna enjoy it :-)

Moral of the story - don't go on jollidays with Boo cos things never go

Oh I dunno... I've been away with her several times and it makes things
interesting. She does have the ability to keep totally cool in any
situation and just accept that these things happen.

Some people *will* find it a major hassle but not the Boos. For them it's an
extended jolliday. How lovely for them:)

I've forgotten the name of the place but she said she had mentioned to Mr
Boo that she would have quite liked to explore somewhere nearby but they
hadn't had time... so they're off to have a look round. They've already
taken the hire car back, so Mr Boo is having the new experience of going on
a bus ;-)

Oh nice to hear of a travel company actually communicating with their
clients instead of the usual way of telling them nothing. This was they can
enjoy the extra time rather than sitting about a hotel/airport so well done

Hav had a lovey extra , extra day but they 'say' there is a plane for us in
the morning at 9am (4 or 5 pm at home, can't remember now cos I have
partaken of some falling down liquid!)

I think they got evicted from their seats for a while, sudden influx of
Japanese people who 'are' able to get on their flight, I think. Boo also
kept losing her connection but will hopefully be back... online and later,
to *this* country!

Did you hear about that Boo ??? Well I wouldn't have believed it, there of
all places and oh well they say she's lucky she wasn't arrested. I know it's
all true too 'cos Mrs Nextdoor's sister's, workmate's, baby sitter's, mother
told me, but don't tell anybody I told you.

We had a wander round Richmond ( where the hotel is) did some retail
therapy - I love Liz Claiborn stuff cos its Merkin sizes and in Merkin Sizes
Boo can (just) fit into a size 8 ! LOL
Then we sat by the pool in the sunshine and read, whilst nice young Canadian
waitresses brought us cold libations :-)
Have had a great jolliday, the extra days were a bonus .... should arrive
back in the UK
( with a bit of luck and a following wind) about 1.30 am Wednesday.
