warned there might be some unpleasant side effects for few days. Certainly
were..couldn't see properly first day, face puffed up, frontal headache, &
so on. Says they are all part of the change, and plod on, because will feel
so much better once used to them and side-effects wont go on long. Is
anyone else put on the switchover.?And how was it for you ?

sounds awful for you ((((((((((Marg)))))))))) Thankfully I do not need to
take anything for BP but OH does - he was taken off Beta Blockers and put
on to an ACE inhibitor - no gradually weaning off and on tho. He is fine,
no unpleasant side effects at all :)

i am on them (Pindolol) but as they are for Angina as well as BP it
seems i shall be kept on them and thank goodness too if weaning off them
is not nice

Likewise - I'm on Inderal LA for angina. I take other tablets for high
blood pressure, cholesterol lowering etc.
On the rare occasion when I have forgotten to take my beta-blocker in the
morning by lunchtime I'm in a right state, so goodness knows what state I
would be in if I was to be taken off them altogether.
Thankfully that's not going to happen.
