Pam the goose...
.... perhaps if I'd spelt it right last night it wouldn't have happened

=?iso-8859-1?Q?=A7ire=DFird?= & $ir Vivor...
Tis the weather methinks. All the sun's having a bit of an adverse
effect on people's common sense :((

again:(

Rabbit...
Sheesh you do know that I had to scroll all the way down there to find out
how you spelt it. I read *abandoned* this morning :-)

Ray.Milne...
snipped cos I knew this bit.

Ray.Milne...
Morning everyone,

Rabbit...
Morning Ray

Got to bed at 0230, up at 0930 just waiting to see if we are needed today.

Rabbit...
Fingers crossed that you aren't needed.

Gey and damp here so if we need to go out again the boggy bits which need to
be searched in daylight are going to be VERY boggy.

Have thousands of cups to wash but will leave that until a call or I put the
caravan back on the path.

Have only been back from holiday less than 2 weeks and it has all turned out
very busy for various reasons. Think I need another holiday to compensate.

Rabbit...
I think so too ;-)

Pam the goose...

Jackie...
A jolly good idea!

Pam the goose...
That's it, Jackie, encourage him.
I could do with spending some time with him:)

PS - I bet he forgot to wash the cups:)

Jackie...
A nice peaceful holiday without fear of `call-outs` good for you both, also
Meg!!
Keep at it girl:))))

We'd just arrived at the Team Leader's house to return the stuff he'd left
in our car last night when Ray's mobile went off. Another callout!! They
have to be at the police station in town in a few minutes to get the gen
then they'll call everyone out.

=?iso-8859-1?Q?=A7ire=DFird?= & $ir Vivor...
Oh dear :(( Hope it's a better result than yesterday's.

Rabbit...
Oh dear :-(

It's made a right mess of our day! At least we got an evening meal while we
were in Tesco's. Don't try it, their catering is revolting! But I'm OK now
till breakfast time so he doesn't have to worry about me.

=?iso-8859-1?Q?=A7ire=DFird?= & $ir Vivor...
When we've had an all day breakfast in the Tesco in Yeovil, it's been
great but the catering has gone out to franchise so that's probably
why it's gone downhill. We've not been in the Yeovil branch since
they reopened the cafe following a major revamp. The one in the local
branch never smells appertising enough for us to want to call in.

Rabbit...
Never eaten in Tesco but ASDA is OK.

Poor Meg doesn't know if she's coming or going, her Dad's running around

=?iso-8859-1?Q?=A7ire=DFird?= & $ir Vivor...
She'll settle down soon enough.

ignoring her:(

Rabbit...
Aww poor Meg, maybe she wants to go and do her bit.

Right, he's gone. He's got to come back to send out the messages to everyone
and get the caravan so I'll see him for 10 minutes later on.

Rabbit...
Hope all goes wel and Ray is back home soon with good news.

What is it about good weather that makes people take the plunge?

=?iso-8859-1?Q?=A7ire=DFird?= & $ir Vivor...
Sudden release from the gloom of winter maybe.

Jackie...

Another `call out` there must definitely be something about May!!

I agree with your about Tesco's catering, ours is awful and everything is
self-serve,
ours was rebuilt about last year but it is worse than it was now.

Pam the goose...
Our Tesco's is a new one and the building is impressive. They've put the new
Rugby Stadium next to it so they share the car park on match days.

As the best-looking of everything on offer in their cafe I had steak and
stout (!) pie.

The pastry was nicely cooked on the outside but then flaky pastry can look
good when inside it is revolting. This did, and the pastry wasn't cooked
right through. It was a rather large pasty type in shape and I actually did
find four pieces of meat in there. One was a quarter inch cube, the other
three a little bigger but not as big as half an inch! The nicest part of the
meal was the gravy which was close to home made in taste:)

Tesco's have lovely sandwiches which we often partake of. In future we know
to stick to the sandwiches:))

Jackie...
That pie did not sound very nice Pam, like one we had in a pub on our
recent holiday, we complained so we did not pay for it!!

Rabbit...
I suppose there could be many reasons, from as simple as 'cos it's nice they
go for a walk, take a wrong turn and get lost to as complicated as some
lonely person being unhappy when the world seems happy as happens when the
sun shines.
