Can anyone suggest..

...Recently I saw lots of old pictres of roads, streets, my old school, even
the maternity hosp. etc. obtained through the library archives there. Have
now tried to find similar for my husband, hs cousin, her husband, who all
lived in the same road, as children, and went to same school for six years.
Can't find a thing! His was a different town, but now comes under same
larger authority. Can anyone suggest any further ways? Thank you.

This may help, or not. It can be quite flaky though you may have to try a
few times before getting a picture.

I found that very interesting, I went back to where I was born in Woolwich,
the map was much earlier 1870
but lots of the road names were the same right back then.
