Born last night

After a long labour our daughter Rebecca gave birth to a healthy baby
girl at home last night at around midnight. She had two midwives in

attendance and I must say they were fantastic and so dedicated to their
job, a job that I could never do. I have lambed sheep and even turned
lambs the right way internally before birth but delivering a human baby
is something else !

The baby name is Mary Jane, weighing in at 8 lbs 3 ozs after a
difficult entrance to the world, but relieved to say that both mother
and baby are now doing well :)

I am keeping busy cooking and washing for the household plus making
sure that Jenny, who WAS the baby of the family until now, is not made
to feel left out.
