After complaining at the way the compromised CC was handled, I'm happy
to report that there were no surprises and the replacement card is up
and running and the account was given a £15 credit for all the
hassle...:-))))

No gain without pain.. but yes I did. They asked for evidence of phone
calls involved. As we use a prepaid mobile I couldn't provide that, so
they asked what the average top up is, I told them (truthfully) £10. I
doubt the calls cost that so £15 was a generous offer.. They didn't
offer any overalls :-)

Surely the idea isn't to *gain* overall?
But to be put back into the position you were in before it
happened & to be *compensated* for any losses & inconvenience.
