I cannot post to my Plus net site so looks as if they are still having

It appears that the Plusnet server is now accepting ftp-ing again . I've
just successfully uploaded some.

This means that the Plusnet server thinks its hard drive is full. Whether
this is true, or there is actually some other fault is a different question.

Do you mean just my webspace on the server or *all* the Plusnet server?

The drive your (and many others') webspace is on.

As mentioned elsewhere on this thread. Plusnet "have identified that this is
being caused by one of the backend storage platforms".

That is, the aforementioned platform thinks (one of) its hard drive(s) is
full. Nothing to do with your permitted allowance.

Just used my copy of David Taylor's FTP usage piechart, and that tells me I
have 212.625 Mb of free space.

Get yourself an Ecosse.net site Barb. You do have to register via dial up
but after that pics and stuff can be uploaded by ftp :D

Yes,Ecosse let you upload to your webspace with them while connected to
another ISP. I've been recommending them for a long time. I think Sandra,
Wrinklie, Biffo and others may have opened accounts with them on my say so.
