Well
did you watch the programme ? The firearms residue theory evidence was
disproved.
- The collection of photos of Gill Dando found in the flat of Barry George
turned out to me a collection of 800 old newspapers - and the suposed
"photos" were not even circled or cut out..... hardly a collection of
photo's was it ?
Did the Juror's meet up and discuss the case ? Seems more than likely to me
......
All in all I think the evidence that convicted Barry George is not only a
bit thin - I think it is most unsafe.
I would not be at all surprised if the conviction is overturned.

I hope so !! how on earth can you believe in British Justice ;-(

Barry George is a bit weak in the head. The moment the police realized
that, they decided to pin it on him.

Let's hope so, but hoped that he would never be convicted in the first
place and that hope of mine came to naught.

I find it hard to understand how any 12 (sorry 11 - one was excused due to a
family bereavement) jurors could possibly have found him guilty on the
evidence that the BBC program said was put forward by the prosecution. It
seemed to me that there is alawful lot we weren't being told about what
happened at the actual trial. If the evidence was so tenuous how come the
appeal was turned down as well ?
