It's Aggie popping in by accident. I spent all of last year trying to access
this ng with no success. I opened an account with University of Berlin, but
paying a fee got me nowhere. I know there is a free server or some such
thing, but who, or where?

Try news.aioe.org Aggie. They aren't very good and only allow you to make
around 25 post per day, but you could get through and it is free. I use
it as my second emergency backup.
