Not nice

Good morning all.
I just got a phone call from my BIL, my sister had
a nasty fall yesterday and broke her hip.
They are going to be working on her this morning
to mend her but think she may have to have a hip
replacement.
At age 75, she doesn't really need this :o(.

Sorry to hear that wally. Thinking of her
Mum did the same thing two years ago (age 87) and they plated the ho and
pieced it all back together.
FWIW she still has problems walking and uses a rollator or zimmer and
the doctor now says they would have been better doing a replacement!

replacement may be the better option you know, hips take weeks to mend and
keep you immobile but with a replacement you are soon up and about again.
