Noreen's home

Just had a phone call from Noreen. She is home but a bit sore and in a
bit of pain so she is going to lie down for a while. She may be on
later depending how she feels

She's bound to be in a bit of discomfort after that procedure but it will

Thankyou Jackie and all you lovely people! I was told rest for three days
and I have got my
family who are brilliant , so no probs ;-))))

Everything went fine till about 8 last night when i had a very bad swelling
and extremely painful
round the groin. It seemed it was bleeding underneath, and the nurse none to
gently in fact very roughly
applied pressure to move it.I actually cried out cos the pain was so bad and
had to tell her to stop i couldn't breath.
She then applied a pressure thing which was better but I am afraid I had got
very upset.She then came about every fifteen minutes to check, until at
11-30 she brought a Dr who said it was ok but send for him if i was not
happy,all this time I am flat on my back .but after examination this morning
was allowed home. It is still painful but i know it is ok,
I am just very tired. Thanks again will be back don't worry;-))))

Welcome back Noreen. Glad you're home again.
I should cross that nurse off your friends list. How awful to cause you that
much pain.
Please rest and do nothing!

oh Noreen what a pity I had that pressure in the groin from a very heavy
male Nurse and *that* device too it was *very* bruising and painfull.
What a pity but i hope alls well now. Take care and rest

Glad you're back in one piece Noreen. Have a good sleep and rest when you
feel the need. I'm sure you'll be OK. If they haven't given you anything
to ease the pain, then I'm sure paracetamol will w*rk. That's all my son
took after his recent hernia repair op. He reckoned they did the trick.
