May...
A friend has two Barn Owls, (massive rear garden - so a large aviary for
them with logs, smalll-tree, plenty of flight room, all inside.) They took
them in from someone who knew all about Barn-Owls, how to feed, etc. etc....
This week she tells me they have both laid eggs, so both are female...... no
male.... so now what happens to the eggs???????

David...
How does she know they *both* laid eggs? Was she watching or are they
in separate aviaries?

David...
So it could be that one is the male in which case if the eggs are 'sat'
she could end up with quite a few youngsters in around a month
[dependent upon species]

If both are female the eggs will be unfertile and so nothing will happen
unles you fancy an omelette.

David...
No doubt you will let me know

Its probably worth checking the rspb/bto websites as, dependent upon
species, there are a number of legal restrictions around owls.

Oo-oo.
