Grey_Wolf...
Ive noticed that _word_ makes italics and *word* makes bold in
web-searchtalk (a chatfunction) but not here - how come?

Like to know.

Grey_Wolf...
*Thanks*, Steve _Hope_ it /works/!

Grey_Wolf...
case, the thought is staggering.

John the R-T...
Depends on your news reader. Dialog makes any words enclosed in * *
as bold. My OE just shows * * or _ _ with no highlighting.

Grey_Wolf...
Apparently Mozilla makes _ _ underline the words instead of italize
them. Dont really know how to format them in this email pgm. Tried to
find info in help - but there was none to be had.

Anders

Anita...
Hey, Anders - considering that english is not your mother tongue - you
do very well indeed, and I do know a lot that type 'u' instead of you -
and they too are adults:))
I do know that a lot of short word use stems from using text on
mobiles - I even use it myself when I text people - makes for a shorter
sentence and the ability to send more in the message - and I am
definitely an adult, even though I am an elderly one ROFL

Wrinklie One =?iso-8859-1?Q?=A9?=...
Thanks was bold, Hope was U/lined and works was italic (but with / / at
each end) in my dialog reader

Grey_Wolf...
Apparently depends on which kind of reader u've got. And in Mozarella
:D it works and shows all three formattings.

Grey_Wolf...
At least it did in Mozilla but not here at Silversurfer's. :(

Steve...
Just remembered Datemas is Plain Text only no HTML

Grey_Wolf...
Well the use of formatting is phs not so necessary after all. I can t y
p e like this if i want to e m p h a s i z e something. Thanks for the
help anyway.:)

Jeff Gaines...
It works fine in XanaNews, even though I use a text only NSP (NIN) - as
others have said it depends on your news reader.

This should be *bold*, this /italic/ and this _underline_ I think, I can
never remember the codes :-)

datasmog...
All plain text here :-)

Jeff Gaines...
You need to try a different flavour of (Mac) soup :-)

datasmog...
No thanks, the plain text flavour suits me fine.

JoeH...
Yep they were fine Jeff (as Anders' were earlier) in 40tude Dialog

Cheers.
Anders

Grey_Wolf...
That is the formatting doesnt transfer to this place from Mozilla.
