Not to worry any more about my Sky Plus we have a friendly TV engineer
coming to sort things out for us, he is a friend that has sorted things
out for us before.

That's good :) I will have to suss ours out sometime but would really
prefer sky+ I think :)

We only bought the DVD recorder last year Val so it seems a shame not to
use it and pay out another Ł99.
I was thinking (that hurts) if you have Sky+ then how would you play
ordinary DVD's, the ready recorded ones!!

still play them or is it only for things you have recorded
and not the bought ones??

Sky+ has a hard drive to record to so you still need a separate DVD player
