Well my ADSL was re-connected by BT yesterday afternoon after almost 3 days
without it. I don't think anyone will tell me why they removed my BB.
Suffice it to say they thought I was about to switch ISPs so took it off.
I'd like to know exactly who put in the request to have my line
disconnected. Plusnet say it wasn't left, so who is left? Is the an
unknown third party mucking about? Perhaps I've always been right to be

Jackie...
Sorry to hear it FN, I do hope you get it all fixed PDQ!!

It seems like everytime they try and improve something, something else
goes wrong. Been ongoing problems since I was Maxed back in late April or
early May. :(

paranoid.

Anyhow the returned line was giving me download speeds of around 2900 kbps
:) until midnight then they plummeted to just less than 1000 kbps despite a
synch rate of 4672 kbps and a BT set stable rate of 3000 kbps. I really
think someone is out to get me. Oh! and the evening disconnections whilst I
am not w*rking at the computer are still occurring. Doh. Back to before

Aries...
'They' are definitely out to get you Dave :(

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Yep! From reading what's been going on in plusnet.service.customer-feedback
it would appear that getting a me is one of their success stories - they
seem pretty good at it. :(

Aries...
Hummmmm - bout time someone sorted you out then and I mean that in th
nicest possible way ;)

They've been w*rking on it since July. :(
Seems to me that every time they look at your open ticket it's someone new
and he doesn't bother to read the earlier part of the problem so that you
go round in circles ( like jumping through the same hoop over and over
again ). Then they pass the problem on to BT, who then hand it back, and
the whole thing is repeated again. Unfortunately when I eventually started
to see the light at the end of the tunnel, BT decided to completely
disconnect my BB connection - for no reason that I or Plusnet can fathom.
So now it's been reconnected I imagine it'll be back to starting all over
again. The first stage of that has already started. When I was originally
maxed I had good download speeds for a short time then they plummetted.
When I was reconnected yesterday the speeds were around 2900 kbps. Then
since midnight they have been lower than 1000 kbps - see the table in my
reply to MCC earlier in the thread. They are still at that level. Not
good for someone who has been on a 2 Mbps connection with them for around 3
years now.

square one.

Saxman...
I have had my speed increased and BT told me to expect interruptions
combined with speed changes for about a month until the line 'settles in'.

That is just what is happening now.

It has ranged between 1 and 1.9 over the last 3 weeks.

I wouldn't mind, but my download speed had been basically steady at around
2900 kbps for a couple of months now with an occasional excursion above 3000
kbps. That was until BT de-wired my BB at the exchange last Tuesday for no
reason, and left me BB-less for 2 hours short of 3 days.
