In these very cold times, it's nice to look forward to the summer.
For the third year running we're off to Brittany in France.

We are never far from St Malo.
This year it's near Dinan ( Chateau des Ormes)
A resort, so there will be plenty for the little feller to do.
23 June - 1 July.

Anyone else made plans yet ?
Any exotic locations?

Two years ago we rented a farmhouse in St Lunaire. I especially enjoyed that

We were in Saumur for the World Cup thing. Had a wonderful time. Sat
outside in the square and had a meal and a few drinkies while watching the
final on the myriad of tellies there were all over the place. The
celebrations went on till the early hours, all you could hear was horns
beeping and happy people chanting Un, et deux et trois...ZERO ! Great fun!
and then it was Bastille Day the next day. LOL celebrations all over
again!

Frenchies.
Last year we stayed at a very rural location called Plemy.
A bit out of the way, but it had table tennis, pool table, darts, and a
brand new outdoor heated swimming pool !
I enjoy the contrasting countryside and fine beaches of Brittany.

Not spent a great deal of in Brittany, though Booette#2 did the salaried
entertainment there for a while near to Quimper and we visited her
Remember that it is traditional round here to bring pressies back from yer
jollidays - and Boo is partial to a drop of red :-)

Sounds very nice WS, have not been to Brittany.
We do not go too far these days, going to New Forest Area, Cheddar for a
wedding then on to Torquay. We went on a Cruise the other year but Ted was
ill so that was not too good.
