Some of you may remember me posting this link last Remembrance Sunday.
The first picture is of Dave Goulden, who joined the R.N. with me back in
1954, sending a semaphore message from HMS Belfast on Remembrance Sunday.
You may also remember that GreySwan said he had spoken to Dave that week.
GreySwan informed me last week that Dave had died on Saturday 25th February
and has since told me that Dave's remains are to be cremated this coming
Tuesday.

Sad Mike. My thoughts are with you and all those who knew him
May he find peace and may you find comfort in your memories

Amen to that.
Hard to lose a friend, but I hope you can celebrate his life on Tuesday
with good memories of him.

Indeed.
Sadly I haven't kept in touch with any of my RN friends. One that
lived here in the Garden City moved away just after I left the navy.
