Some of you followed my friends on the year long tour of the US last year
on:
They are now on their tour of Europe and are logging it on:

Now that is a truly professionally made website.

Well he is a professional IT man Anders. Before he retired early that is.
Used to design, implement and maintain netw*rks for industrial and business
clients for a king's ransom. Also pretty good at writing his own software
too, although he had never bothered with building websites 'til about 2
years ago, just a few months before he embarked on the tour of the USA..

Two great links, FN: Interesting tour of France. Absorbing all
this stuff will take me away from work in your fields. I hope you
will keep the punishment away from disembowelment, Your Highness. :-)

Incidentally - in the Europe one - the first pages on the Rivelin Valley.
The valley starts just about 5 minutes walk from my home. It's other claim
to fame, is that Sebastian Coe (Now Lord Coe) of 1 mile, ½ mile, 1500m and
800m Olympic running fame used to train running up the side of the main road
running through the valley.

Hi FN: What a great post. America from a foreign perspective
was interesting. Its was a lot to digest so I read about some spots
in the mid-south & DC where Bet & I visited often. Of course I
agree & disagree with the narration of our culture which can change
from one little town to another 20 miles away. Anyway FN, this is
a terrific post. Thanks for the memories. Plenty of places in there that
Bet & I have been too.
I'm waiting for a phone call from the doctor. My back is a little better
& one of those bonehead tech people said maybe it's a virus. He doesn't
know squat but neither does my doctor. :-)

And now you and Bettyann will be able to *do* (as you Americans say) Europe
without having to venture out of doors. :)
