Installation problem

I cannot get Gallery Constructor to install on this lappy. Just a blank
box comes up headed Gallery Constructor 2.0 then nothing happens. When I
try to close it down another blank box pops up headed Cancel Installation.
That won't close down either, only via alt/control/delete!! Does anyone
know why this is happening?

Did you download the Windows version with installer?

Do you have the latest version of Java installed?

GC isn't the easiest of programs to get working.

I downloaded the .exe one, and it installed and runs OK on the desktop but
not on here.

I will check on Java - can you remember which one it should be?

nothing jbexs for me - I cannot discover what is making blank boxes come up
during the install. I will have to use Alpha for Gallery constructor as it
will not install on here :(
