Good morning one and all. We have a slight frost here but quiet and calm.
That horrid wind seems to have dropped thank goodness.

It's a grey day, quite bright for a grey day but still a grey day. The air
is warmer than yesterday, if a bit more dampish and though there is a bit
more of a breeze today it doesn't feel like it came straight from the North
Pole.

Good morning Val, same weather here I think.
Was it the wind brought the tree down or was it just old? I bet it will take
the Council a long time to give any compensation?
Still packing - takes ages, have you got your moving date?

The wind gusted and blew down the tree Jackie :( We don't really want
compensation, just for them to come along and put it right, but I'm
guessing it will take a long time getting them to do that knowing local
councilss:(

I'm taking my time packing, just a few boxes each day and cataloging them
for easy searching later on. We do not have a firm date yet but expect it
to be in about 6 weeks time.

Oh dear, good luck. Methinks councils being councils will try to wriggle out
of liability for that.

Morning Val ! doesen't look quite as frosty , but is still very cold .
Don't envy you the packing !!! but the tree could have been very dangerous
