i was looking at Nero

and thinking of buying it just for burning discs but look at all the
goodies it throws at me :-

I have no need for all that and dont want to load it all so what do

I have looked and download it for later, it seems to do just what i
want :-)

Flying Rat...

Nero 7 premium reloaded does try and take over your system. It changes
file associations and adds in all sorts of stuff.

I still prefer to use Nero to do my burning as it's still the easest and
best application. The way to do it is to choose 'custom' when you
install it, and just install the bits you want.

NOT the 'Typical' install which will do the above.
