Was our monthly luncheon date with a couple who were our neighbours for
10 yrs commencing 69... We moved away first, then they moved down sarf
to run a restaurant. We re-established contact when they moved back to
this neck of the woods and have been alternating lunch dates for the
past year. Yesterdays was a bit special being the hostesses birthday.

Try this pmj -
Peel a banana for each person. Lay it on a double thickness of foil.
Sprinkle brown sugar on the bananas along with some cinnamon and dot each
one with butter. Seal them up in the foil and barbecue for about 8 minutes.
A splash of rum gives them a nice kick :-)

I suppose you could do them in the oven but somehow that wouldn't seem the
same, if you get my meaning.

Sounds good - will try that next time I go to camp and cook it in the
embers of the camp fire
We do a similar thing. Peel a banana and split almost in half
lengthwise. Stuff with chocolate drops, wrap in foil and cook in the
campfire embers (or I suppose you could barbeque)

Aperitif: Amaretto cocktail. Cava with the meal????
Starters: Frogs legs in garlic or prawn salad (D had the prawns)
Main: Game Pie ( venison, pheasant and rabbit) [sorry Sandra]
Pudding: Hot black cherries in brandy and ice cream
Cheese and biccies with port.
I bowled well last night :-)
