Virus question

Has anyone heard of this HLLP-Vova 10.1-B which Avast found on my desktop
yesterday? I've done a search on the net but not found anything, other
than a couple of French sites which I cannot understand, that explains
what it is?

i went here Val
and entered hllp as it didnt recognise the vova part and it lists a few
threats but none are of the format you described :(

thank you Anita - now I wonder how that appeared on my machine ??? I
wonder if it could have happened when my grandson was playing internet
games on it??

Oh - I ban the grandchildren from using my pcs for their internet
games - it took me 3 hours once to clear up a mess one of them had made
on their own pc after playing internet games on it.
They are only now allowed 2 or 3 safe sites to use for internet games on
their own pc.

I cannot connect to the internet either now from my desktop but I can with
Delta my laptop.
