As I mentioned the other day, we were babysitting our son's dog, Alice. The
link below should take you to her photo. We finally were able to catch her
in the pose I spoke about.

Ben the Black Lab...
She's nice.

Woof Woof Woof :-))

Alice has a touching way of tilting her head as if to say: "Huh?". I know
all dogs tilt their head, but she looks especially sweet when she does it.
She's very affectionate and we call her a "love sponge". She's part German
Shepherd and part Rottweiler. She is very protective of the food in her dish
and will sit for hours guarding it. She takes other dogs' toys and guards
them fiercely.

Today on TV's "The View", they all talked about their dogs.

Alice the dog...
Hello, Ben the Black Lab.
Keep your paws off my toys!
You don't scare me!
...Ouch!
Woof Woof Woof Woof :)
Get off of me you big Lab!

In fact they had their dogs with them on the show.
So I guess it's OK to talk about Alice today. (g)

I just love German Sheperd's, not too sure about Rottweiler !! but she is
just lovely all your photos are very good and what a very good looking pair
you are too ;-))))

Splodge...
She looks lovely, Sea. I like that tilt of the head too

Thanks, Splodge.
Do you have a dog?

Anita Carter...
Oh you can definitely see the German Shepherd in her. What a lovely healthy
looking dog she is. How old is she?

~~seadancer~~...
Alice is about 7 years old. We suspect her legs are going. She has a bit of
trouble going upstairs sometimes and you can see her struggle a bit when she
tries to get up. But she still chases squirrels with no trouble at all. (g)

Sweet :)

~~seadancer~~...
Thank you, FN. Yes, she's very sweet, most of the time, except when you want
her food or her toy. (g)
BTW, DH fixed her eyes via Photoshop. The pupils were white in the original
photo. He returned them to their usual black. We shouldn't have wasted our
time preventing the red-eye effect.
